Head of Store IT Support

SMCP

When a project built hand-in-hand with the teams is a success, I feel an immense sense of pride. It’s in those moments that I know I’m exactly where I’m meant to be.
What’s your background?

I started my career in accounting at Maje, before becoming an internal controller when the SMCP Group was created and the support functions of the brands were brought together. At that time, I was involved in setting up the cash register procedures for the Sandro, Maje, and Claudie Pierlot brands.
In 2016, I took a more technical turn by becoming an IT project manager. It was a rich experience that allowed me to dive into systems and better understand the challenges faced in the field.
Since July 2024, I’ve had the opportunity to lead Store IT Support—a role that keeps me closely connected to our retail teams.

What are the key qualities for your job?

Above all, you need to be a good listener, stay calm under pressure, and handle unexpected situations with composure.
A strong practical sense is essential, as is a genuine desire to solve problems. You also have to enjoy collaborating with a wide variety of people—from store teams and head office functions to external providers. Every day is a large-scale team effort.

Today, SMCP is part of my DNA.

What drives you every day?

What drives me is seeing the real, tangible impact of my work on the ground. When a store reopens swiftly thanks to a quick intervention, or when a project built hand-in-hand with the teams is a success, I feel an immense sense of pride.
It’s in those moments that I know I’m exactly where I’m meant to be.

Something you're proud of?

I wasn’t present on the day of SMCP’s IPO and the bell ceremony at Euronext, but I recently visited the room where the bell was rung. I was overcome with emotion—much more than I had imagined.
I thought back to the founders’ journey and everything we’ve built together along the way. As someone who’s deeply attached to family values, it truly moved me.
Today, SMCP is part of my DNA.
