As Logistics Site Manager, Stéphanie oversees the entire activity of the Vémars warehouse, which is dedicated to preparing and shipping customer orders as well as supplying the stores. She ensures the smooth running of daily operations, coordinates field teams, and manages department supervisors. Her role is strategic in ensuring a seamless logistics chain while maintaining performance, safety, and team motivation.

What’s your background?

My career at SMCP reflects a journey driven by determination and a strong desire to learn.
I started as an order picker, with a clear goal: to grow. I then joined the customer service department as an administrative assistant — a real challenge with no prior experience, but one that allowed me to discover how the Group operates.
I quickly advanced to Customer Service Manager, first for one site, then for both logistics sites in Vémars and Marly-la-Ville.
For the past year, I’ve been Site Manager — a key milestone that reflects the company’s trust and my daily commitment.

What are the main qualities needed for your job?

You need to know how to motivate, lead, and bring teams together, taking into account different personalities while ensuring group cohesion.
This also involves careful planning of site activities, meeting deadlines, and optimizing workflows.
It’s equally important to prioritize actions, anticipate operational needs, and remain agile when facing the unexpected — whether delays or spikes in activity.

What drives you every day?

What drives me every day is seeing the tangible impact of my work — both on the teams and the smooth operation of the site.
I love taking on challenges, solving problems quickly, and improving things day by day.
What motivates me most is helping others grow, sharing what I’ve learned, and building a real sense of trust.
The variety in my day — between people, operational management, and continuous improvement — is what I’m truly passionate about.

My greatest pride is my journey at SMCP. Starting out as an order picker, I seized every opportunity and rose to every challenge — even with no prior experience.
Today, being a Site Manager proves that perseverance, a willingness to learn, and self-confidence can open every door.
But beyond the title, my real pride lies in the trust placed in me by my team and my leadership.
