Magazine #2

February

February tastes like an early springtime.

The recent heat wave colored the capital this month, leaving place for Sandro to walk its models in the pedestrian streets, Maje a perfect time to bloom his palm trees along the main avenues and Claudie Pierlot a dream opportunity to highlight its selection of floral dresses. The SMCP Magazine recommends that you start your monthly reading outside the office because it also has solar stories to share with you. Editorially yours.

Creative Update

1 — Sandro,
Les Fashion Stories

This week, Sandro tells a new fashion story in the streets of the French capital.

Sandro

In the middle of Parisian cafés vibes, Natalie loves bold associations – a knit dress worn on a long-sleeved shirt, a bumbag in a belt on a long white dress.
Sometimes, she displays timeless looks like the striped trouser suit or the denim jacket with tonal jeans. Her favorite of this season: the Astro sneakers.

Sandro Homme

To immerse himself in Les Halles district in Paris, Jonas wears jeans and sneakers that he mixes with a loose striped sweater or casual striped shirts. He adopts the codes of the universe with plain western style shirts. His favorite accessory, bob or cap to assert his street style and casual.

2 — Maje,
under the palm trees

Paris will always be Paris?

Not at Maje and not in this season where palm trees, surfers and Ferris wheels glamup the streets of the capital during summertime.

Always a little away, always a little here, Judith Milgrom finds inspiration for Summer 2019 collection in her desires of being away but also in the Jardin des Tuileries. This results in the exclusive print celebrating Paris chic: summery and vintage, completely fantasied.

Click, and you will see!

Just for her, the fabrics are made silky and light.

The print mixes surfers and palm trees in the Pantheon or the Ferris wheel of Paris. The proposed line is eclectic, the influences of loungewear accompanies athleisure-inspired pieces, a beautiful retro short-dress, a wide-pleated under-knee skirt…

3 — Rise up with Claudie Pierlot

For the launch of the special operation #RiseUpWithClaudie, Claudie Pierlot invited its friends and ambassadors to an intimate dinner at Refettorio, an elegant restaurant located in the crypt of the Church of the Madeleine.

The place was not chosen at random: the Refettorio is a solidarity restaurant that is committed to people in situations of exclusion or precariousness. The dinner, under the sign of generosity (to the decorated plates of hands in position of donation) gathered among others the models Annabelle Belmondo, Alexandra Ricci, Léa Villani and Eleonore Lourdais or Jennifer Neyt of Vogue, Nora Bordjah and Jeanne The Bault of Glamour and ELLE.

Entrepreneurs Stories

Project-break Shoes corner Printemps

Accessible luxury, rich in its marriage between fast fashion and luxury, is a dynamic segment in which our three Brands Sandro, Maje & Claudie Pierlot have become the main actors.

Season after season, their position as leaders is confirmed in the global ready-to-wear market, but more recently, a powerful lever of growth has been added to the equation of success: the accessory.

France is the country in Europe where the consumption of shoes is the strongest: the French buy an average of 6 pairs a year vs 4.2 in Europe and they have an average of 14 pairs!

« Shoes can totally twist a look: it is an essential accessory to give a fashion touch to an outfit.  »

Valérie Garnier,
Retail Director Claudie Pierlot

On this occasion, four Printemps stores (Haussmann, Lille, Lyon and Parly 2) will welcome the three Brands in March 2019, at the heart of a very popular floor: The Shoes. Their distinct universes will be honored with a premium and identity scenography, while preserving an aesthetic harmony, signed ‘Parisian Chic‘.

To spread the news, several communication devices have been set up with the Printemps.

Aurélie Sebbah, Marketing & Communication Director Claudie Pierlot, explains :

“In collaboration with the Printemps, we have developed a 360° communication plan based on 3 pillars: digital (notably via CRM with several newsletters set up by Printemps and each of our Brands, a broad activation on social networks with posts, stories and contests as well as a highlight of the operation on the homepage of Printemps and two dedicated articles), retail through highlighting on key areas of the customer journey and finally a press support with insertions in the Printemps magazine, in the lookbook of the brand and a broad influencers campaign for our 3 Brands in the 3 cities.”

« We have played the complementarity of the Brands well while respecting the visual identity of each of them.  »

Valérie Garnier

This project, initiated by the three brands, is overseen by the Claudie Pierlot teams, who coordinate each stage, until field </ em> recruitment. The shoe is a product that, in all its complexity, requires specific training both for teams to take inspiration but also to technically master all references. As such, a training day at Claudie Pierlot’s headquarters was organized to consolidate the know-how </ em> of the Shop Managers and the Area Managers.

The shoes corners will be commercially </ em> managers by Claudie Pierlot’s Area Manager, as well as the ready-to-wear, and the teams of the three brands will have to learn to work in synergy to make transfers quickly and with skills.

« In accordance with the agility value dear to our Group, transfers of references will be possible between the ready-to-wear and the shoes corner, the absolute priority to serve all of our clients.  »

Valérie Garnier

The three corners in Lille, Parly 2 & Lyon will open on March 2nd, 2019 and the Haussmann corner in Paris from March 9th, 2019. </ em>
