On December 5th, SANDRO hosted a brand open day at the SMCP Group’s Shanghai office, highlighting its partnership with the Donghua University Education Development Foundation through the “Donghua University SANDRO Sustainable Fashion Scholarship.”

The event aimed to connect academic learning with industry practice, showcasing the potential of sustainable fashion through immersive experiences and brand insights. In his opening address, Mr. Kleine Tan, CEO of SMCP Asia, stated that “fashion is more than just appearance; it is an attitude and a responsibility.” This sentiment resonated throughout the event as students engaged in meaningful discussions with industry leaders, reinforcing SANDRO’s commitment to nurturing young talent and inspiring career exploration toward a sustainable future.

Climate policy: encouraging external recognition

In recent weeks, SMCP has had the pleasure of receiving two major distinctions recognising the ambition and rigor of its climate policy:
– The Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) awarded SMCP the highest possible rating, A, acknowledging the robustness of our climate strategy and actions.
– The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) validated the Group’s Net Zero 2050 targets, following its approval in 2024 of our 1.5°C-aligned greenhouse gas reduction pathway by 2030.

While these recognitions are not an end in themselves, they nonetheless reward the collective efforts undertaken and encourage us to pursue, with determination, the implementation of our roadmap in order to achieve concrete and measurable results (-19% in direct and indirect emissions between 2022 and 2024; 2025 results to come).

Personalization event at the Champs-Elysées boutique

On Sunday, December 14, the Maje Champs-Élysées boutique hosted an exclusive personalization event. With the purchase of any accessory item, clients were offered the opportunity to have their initials engraved in gold by the skilled hands of gilding artist Lucie Monin.

Guests also enjoyed a gourmet break while completing their holiday gift shopping.

Claudie Pierlot

    • A Signature Bow.

From December 2 to 31, Claudie Pierlot’s windows are dressed to the nines, adorned with their most festive décor.

To mark the occasion, a selection of stores in France and across Europe elevated their look with an oversized bow of striking proportions. In harmony with the Fall–Winter 25 collection, Claudie Pierlot chose a play on materials and colors, alternating between red and black, lacquer and concrete. A sense of contrast with playful undertones that goes far beyond showcasing eveningwear and remains a true signature of the House.
