1- Louise Bousquet Andreani is appointed as CEO of Fursac

We are thrilled to announce the arrival of Louise Bousquet Andreani as General Manager of Fursac at the beginning of January. She joins the Group’s Executive Committee.

Louise has a rather dense and rich background, knowing the world of products and brands thanks to her stints at Balenciaga and Louis Vuitton, as well as the entrepreneurial experience of taking over her family company in media and communications, where she was able to manage a P&L and large teams.

We are delighted by this arrival which will allow the brand to get off to a good start in 2025 and meet its challenges

  • SMCP organized the event « DuoDay » and hosted trainees with disabilities

At SMCP, inclusion of everyone and promoting equal access to work opportunities are at the heart of our values. DuoDay is a unique occasion to share for one day about our jobs, discover new talents and overcome boundaries. This day gave our employees the opportunity to welcome people with disabilities and gave them an overview of their daily working life.
On 21st of November, some of our HQ and retail employees volunteered hosted trainees for one day.

  • A look back at the 2nd edition of the SMCP Hackathon

On 21st and 22nd of November, the 2nd SMCP parisian Hackathon was successfully organized, bringing together 40 employees from all our Brands. It was an intellectual and collective event during which the employees, divided into 6 teams, had 48 hours to respond to the following challenge:

“Propose an inspiring and authentic “raison d’être” (purpose) for our Group that motivates our employees, guides our strategic choices and makes a positive contribution to society”.

They brilliantly rose to the challenge, with a lot of energy and passion, and presented their ideas to the jury, chaired by Isabelle Guichot, in the magnificent Maje showroom.

  • SANDRO received students from Bocconi University

On 20th of November, the SANDRO head office team welcomed a group of students from the prestigious Bocconi University in Italy. Interested in the fashion industry, most of the students are planning to come to Paris to pursue their careers.

The agenda included an informal breakfast, a presentation of the brand by Isabelle Allouch, a tour of the offices and workshops to introduce them to the product lifecycle and our environment. The day ended with an exclusive meeting, very positive and rich, with members of the SANDRO Management Committee.

FURSAC and Mephisto, renowned for high-end comfort footwear since 1965, reveal an unexpected yet right on point collaboration. The dribbler’s design, whose shape echoes the ones of skate shoes, strikes a perfect balance between style and cutting-edge comfort technology. Available in white with silver accents and navy with some black touches, this pair nods playfully to those who might have missed the renewed vision both brands have embraced in recent years. For FURSAC, this evolution has been spearheaded by artistic director Gauthier Borsarello since 2021, whose passion for vintage collection-pieces and true craftsmanship has influenced his take on the Mephisto iconic design.
