  • New opportunities to reduce freight transport carbon footprint in China

Freight transport is the Group’s second largest source of CO2 emissions, just behind product manufacturing. To lower our emissions in this area, we are focusing our efforts on reducing the proportion of air freight. In 2024, China introduced rail transport between Shanghai and Beijing, and soon between Shanghai and Shenzhen.

To go even further in reducing our CO2 emissions, shops are now supplied by 100% electric vehicles in the heart of Chinese cities.

  • A step closer to circular fashion with SANDRO, Maje and Claudie Pierlot

SANDRO is introducing its repair service with Save Your Wardrobe and Les Réparables [Reparaible in french]. Currently available in France, online and in a selection of stores, the service will soon be available in other countries.

Maje is expanding its repair service in stores. Following the successful launch of the service exclusively online, also in partnership with Save Your Wardrobe and Les Réparables, it is now possible to drop off items for repair in a selection of French boutiques. Hence a few days ago, some customers had the opportunity to come and have their favorite Maje pieces repaired for free at the Beaugrenelle store.

Claudie Seconde Hand is now available in stores in France. It is now possible to hand over Claudie Pierlot items you don’t want any more directly to the boutique and receive a voucher without delay.

Equality also includes everyone’s right to develop their potential at work, regardless of their individual situation. As part of our Diversity and Inclusion policy, and to share these values of respect and raise awareness of the different types of disability with our teams in France, we organised a week of activities including role-playing, an immersive deepgame, sign language workshops, hearing tests, a conference on endometriosis and many more!

  • SANDRO x La Cravate Solidaire

At the end of September, SANDROWEEK was organised in partnership with the NGO  La Cravate Solidaire [The Supportive Tie in French]. Employees took part in a variety of voluntary activities: a clothing donation event at the HQ, image or HR coaching workshops for jobseekers, and a day at the Cravate Solidaire offices to help them organize their solidarity cloakroom.

La Cravate Solidaire is an association that promotes equality in employment and aims to stand against discrimination in recruitment, particularly based on physical appearance.
