1 – SANDRO SecondHand expands to the Netherlands, for a more sustainable and circular fashion

On a daily basis, the SANDRO teams strive to produce creations focused on modernity and quality, as well as greater sustainability.

Indeed, each piece is designed to capture trends, but also to last over time.

Because the environmental impact of their clothes is also linked to their use and their second or end-of-life, SANDRO supports its customers in the care, use and transmission of the pieces.

Created in 2021, the SANDRO SecondHand service, already available in France and Germany, has juste opened in the Netherlands.

2 – Hong Kong Logistics team organizes the first recycling of defective products

The recycling partner, a company trusted for handling defective items of most luxury brands in Hong Kong, recycled almost 1,000 pieces to create 1 punching bag that will be sent to a Thai boxing school in Thailand. This innovative recycling method will be used to recycle all other defective items in Hong Kong warehouse in the future.

3 – Fursac x La Fabrique NOMADE

In partnership with La Fabrique NOMADE, Fursac sent 429 canvases from its lightboxes to the association to make 200 tote bags.

The association La Fabrique NOMADE, created in 2016, works to promote and encourage the professional integration of migrant and refugee art craftspeople in France.

1 – SMCP has been certified a “Happy at work company”!

At the end of March, you were invited to contribute to our large internal survey, conducted together with our partner Choose My Company. The goal of this survey was to make your voices heard and to gather your input on a variety of topics.

Based on these three criteria, SMCP was certified a Happy at Work company in 2023!

Among the Group’s strengths, here are some areas to be proud of, as they received the highest scores:

Another important lesson learned from the main expectation expressed by employees during our latest SMCP Voices survey in 2017: the Group and its Brands were asked to make progress on Sustainability.

Today, Sustainability received the highest score, a reflection of how far we have come, with its 75% positive feedback (higher result than the benchmark!).  An outstanding performance on a strategic subject, which is essential for the Group and its Brands, something we must be proud of!

The main areas for improvementrevealed during this survey are:

For more details:

Based on this feedback, and because more granular research by our Brands and BUs has already begun, we have to:

  • continue to work on our strengths, especially in our internal and external communications, to meet our attractiveness goals,
  • establish action plans and brainstorming workshops to improve in areas that were less positive.

  • A TASTY ESCAPE

The summer story continues, punctuated by delicacies and variations of ecru, pastel, embroidery, Tencel and light denim.

Claudie invites you into the kitchens of Gramme, Paris based restaurant led by chef Marine Gora that offers seasonal and generous home-made dishes. Five of these iconic dishes were re-imagined for us: 5 recipes, 5 moments of the day.

On the menu?

The Claudinola, for a breakfast on the go.

The Bánh Mì, to enjoy with friends at Parc des Buttes Chaumont.

Claudie Tonal Tuna, for a sweet and savory touch.

And two special recipes made by Marine accompanied by her mother,

the ultimate inspiration: the Pierlot Brioche (their version of French

toast) and the Claudie Stuffed Tomatoes, a classic.

In the image of our founder Claudie Pierlot herself, Marine cooks with irreverence and precision.

4 – FURSAC

  • French Clichés

A series of ten photographs by Charles Negre for Fursac.

Charles Negre playfully celebrates the French spirit of Fursac with his series titled French Clichés.

The ten still lifes explore some of the most endearing French clichés, light-heartedly reflecting an art of living and panache inherent to the fashion house.

From the Fursac man’s morning croissant casually devoured while slipping into a shirt – could there be a better cure for a long night of partying? – to the vivid childhood memories conjured up by a glass of diabolo-menthe – a typically French peppermint cordial – or the simple sight of a glass of red wine and pure joy of salted butter on crunchy toast. the series evokes a few of the simple pleasures of everyday life that Gauthier BORSARELLO holds so dearly.

A timeless homage to a French summer well spent.

  • L’Ingénieur Chevallier for Fursac

Fursac creative director Gauthier BORSARELLO is first and foremost an aesthete and collector with a passion for everything that enhances and brightens everyday life. His vision reflects a timeless French sensibility that is both practical and engaging, and creates pieces that are comfortable and aspirational.

As a loyal customer of its flagship store on rue des pyramides, it was only natural Gauthier turned to l’Ingénieur Chevallier, the oldest optician in Paris, to create an exclusive pair of sunglasses for the spring-summer 24 season. the design is limited to 25 numbered units, all made by hand and designed to enhance a man’s wardrobe.

Since 1740, l’Ingénieur Chevallier, Paris’ oldest optician, has been captivating its customers for almost three centuries thanks to its unparalleled expertise.
