Global News

1 – Jérémie is appointed as CEO of Fursac

We are delighted of the arrival of Jérémie Le Febvre as CEO of Fursac since May 15, 2023.

Graduated from HEC and holding a Master’s degree in International Corporate and Tax Law, Jérémie began his career in finance before turning to the world of men’s fashion, for which he developed a passion. This has allowed him to rapidly acquire solid expertise in this sector, for example by successfully leading a multidisciplinary team at AMI, where he supported its Founder/Artistic Director and CEO over key years of the Brand’s expansion.

“I am very pleased to welcome Jérémie to the Executive Committee of the Group as CEO of Fursac. Throughout his career, he has developed a strategic vision of the industry, knowledge of the men’s ready-to-wear on the European, American and Asian markets, and leadership that will be major assets for the development and expansion of Fursac. I join the entire SMCP team in wishing him every success in his new position.”  Isabelle Guichot – CEO SMCP

Before joining us, Jérémie served as CEO at A-COLD-WALL*, alongside Artistic Director Samuel Ross, splitting his time between London and Milan.  Jérémie was able to grow on international markets while also developing a strong sensitivity for the world of fashion, products, as well as the ability to work within creative environments while maintaining his entrepreneurial spirit.

We wish him every success and a lot of pleasure in his new position.

“I am delighted to be joining the SMCP Group and Fursac at a crucial moment for the brand. Counting on my experience in international markets, I will continue the work carried out by Elina Kousourna over the past three years. I would like to thank Isabelle Guichot, Gauthier Borsarello and the rest of the SMCP Board of Directors for the confidence they have placed in me to continue to develop the Fursac brand.” Jérémie Le Febvre – CEO Fursac

1 – Maje & HKDI for Cancer Charities Special Project

Maje joined hands with HKDI (Hong Kong Design Institute) to present the “Dream Tomorrow” Campaign through collaborating with cancerinformation.com.hk Charity Foundation and Maggle’s Cancer Caring Centre for a meaningful charitable donation project.

Apart from providing a valuable opportunity for the local young design talents to express their creativity and implement eco-friendly measures in Hong-Kong, this project aims at promoting the concept of sustainable fashion and raise the awareness of cancer in Hong-Kong.

During the 4-month campaign, students from the HKDI were invited to interact with selected cancer patients. By understanding the patients’ challenges and needs, the students redesigned, deconstructed, and reconstructed refreshingly unique styles of bucket hats using unsold stocks and unused materials provided by Maje. These tailor-made heart-warming gifts are donated to support the underprivileged who are fighting against cancer.

The project was reported in the press on social networks:

2 – SMCP APAC is committed for the Green Week

On the occasion of the World Earth Day on the theme of “investing in our planet”, the employees of the SMCP APAC’s headquarters were invited to participate to one activity per day for one week, in order to raise their awareness about environmental issues and strengthen team spirit.

Among the proposed activities: a vegetarian and plastic-free lunch during which the participants could exchange on the benefits of this habit, an awareness campaign on the energic consumption of emails and an invitation to clean the mailbox, the visit of the O.PARK1 factory which transforms food waste into biogas, tips on the small “green” gestures of the daily life (recycling, using LEDs, reducing paper printing…) and a beach or park cleaning for the volunteers.

Congrats for organizing these engaging and meaningful actions to enliven Green Week and to engage employees around key issues!

3 – Claudie Pierlot x Fondation Claudie Pompidou: first workshops

The collaborative project of creating window sets with Claudie Pierlot & Claude Pompidou Foundation began its first workshops.

The participants could express their creativity and reflect on the creation of the windows sets according to the theme proposed by Claudie Pierlot. The workshops ended with a guided tour of the Claudie Pierlot headquarters. They were delighted to discover the backstage of Claudie Pierlot.

Everyone had a great time sharing, creating and discussing. Smiles lit up the workshops!

2 – MAJE GIRLS UP FRONT – Support emerging talent

« Miss Sunset » x Sofie Royer

This season, Maje is launching “Maje Up Front”, a new program to support emerging talents. Each year, the Parisian House will support creativity through exclusive partnerships with artists of all kinds.

Our first “Maje up Front” talent in 2023 is singer Sofie Royer. Maje is working with the singer songwriter for the production of the music video of her new single “One Million”, which she wrote specifically for the project.

For the first component of its program supporting young talents, Maje gave free rein to Iranian-Austrian singer Sofie Royer to promote the capsule “Miss Sunset” through music and images. Sofie Royer translated the sunny atmosphere of the collection through the writing of a song and the production of its music video with the help of Maje.

To celebrate to the “Miss Sunset” capsule, Maje brought handpicked influencers for a trip to Ibiza, in collaboration with the Montesol Experimental hotel, which has juste reopened. Find some captured moments of this trip to Ibiza…

3 – CLAUDIE PIERLOT

  • CLAUDIE PIERLOT X RENTEL

Simple cuts, never simplistic: this is the inspiration behind the CLAUDIE PIERLOT X RENDEL unisex collaboration.

Large timeless white or black frames, rectangular shape, neither too feminine nor too masculine, small frames reminiscent of the 90s…

  • LA PISCINE CLAUDIE

Paris, 30 degrees Celsius

The temperature rises and the streets of Paris empty. Lovers of the capital, the Claudies continue to survey the asphalt, festooned in blue and white. On a gentle slope, the Parisian dolce vita takes on several aspects.

Find the perfect place to play cards

Bring the cards, two Claudie blue deckchairs, a royal blue terrycloth set, striped shorts, and a Claudie T-shirt.

Bring your inflatable mattress

Alluring in a long immaculate dress or in a striped blouse and timeless denim shorts.

Take a nap

An irresistible desire… to rest! The total white look with cotton T-shirt and openwork knit trousers. To be worn with the Claudie denim cap!

Enjoy the pool, anywhere!

Even in the heart of Paris, the call of the pool is the strongest of all!

What do we think is the ideal outfit? A blue blue blue wrap-around dress.

Parade in Paris

The Claudies irreverently roam Paris like they would a real seaside resort.

  • Option 1: In a long blue feminine silk dress.
  • Option 2: In a swimsuit and bright striped shirt for an uninhibited attitude.

The Claudies stand out in blue and white this summer.

To highlight the POOL capsule and the collaboration with RENTEL on sunglasses, Claudie Pierlot created a pop-up at Galeries Lafayette. If you come to Paris, don’t wait any longer to discover the life-size pool.

4 – FURSAC OPEN SEA

The open sea, the sail in the wind, the sun on your skin and the sound of silence

A tailored zipped jacket, featuring both nautical and seasonal colours with tonal stitching,

The modern open-neck top made from technical nylon and filled with practical details,

A canary yellow jacket with black ribbing, quilted and full of vitality,

A boating blazer with a gilded embroidered badge for evenings by the water,

A soft navy sweater made from a wool-cotton blend,

A pair of pleated chinos, loose and with a straight waist.
